1584 – DLT hotline

Another useful number is the hotline of the Department of Land Transport (DLT). You can call 1584 to inquire about bus routes, or if you lost some belongings in the public transports. You can also lodge a complaint against a taxi driver who refused to pick you up or charged an excess fee, or against a mini-van driver who drove recklessly. I know, it’s almost all of them!

    I am a family tourist with my children and who is not even 2 years old
    We were tired after a very hard day in the chatuchak market at 17:06 we wanted to take a cab or a line of taxi waited from customer
    I asked the first 2 taxi that my REQUESTED 400 BATH FOR TRACK and my REFUSED ACCESS TO TAXI IF I DO NOT PAY THE SUM ASKED
    I THEREFORE DONE DEMIE TOUR AND TAKE THE PTS WITH A STROLLER AND CHILDREN AT BROAD MORE RACES
    YOU WILL FIND THE PHOTOS OF THE VEHICLES AND THE FACE OF THE DRIVER WHO CLAIMED MONEY

  2. Today(23/Jan/2018) I took a Taxi ( Taxi No :W-588) at 9:30AM from Suttisam – Don Mueang Airport. Without inform me,Taxi choose High-Way. Make me paid 70THB. This make me so uncomfortable.

    We are not hurry to go to airport. And if driver want use high-way. He should get my permission , because I have to pay it.

Today on 14th Feb 2018 , I got queu with no.46 in suvanabhumi airport The taxi queu with [edited out] and this driver is Mr. [edited out] talk too much even complain that to us he got queu 3 hours which is taking us to nganmongwan with no fair for his queu in airport 3 hours finally, this driver even no care while driving and reading the messeging incoming, this is very dangerous to the passenger, complain all the time from we get in to the car until we arrived to nganmongwan still keep talking about what he got with no fair with place or destination on the fare.i been stay in thailand for over 5 years but never saw that driver like this.

  4. during my stay, with my family of 4, from 3rd Nov,2018 to 7th nov,2018 at Atlantis Condo, Jomtien 2nd Road, Chon Buri 20150,we had fixed a taxi in the morning to visit tiger park and nong nooch garden on 5th Nov,2018 for 600 baht

    All the way from the hotel he shouted and scolded us in Thai language. He did not speak English well, just a few words. Even we do not understand his mother language; the way he spoke we could tell he used foul language toward us.
    After we visited the tiger Park, we left for Nong nooch gardern, the taxi driver started asking for 1200 baht instead of 600 baht (that we had fixed).
    after few miles from Tiger PArk, all of sudden he told us to get down of the taxi or pay 1200 baht..for which i refused..then at Thai Austrian Technical College he stopped and I, with my 4 yrs and 10 yrs old daugter and wife were left on the road with no clue as where we were.
    We waited for another taxi for arround an hour but to no avail and finally I had to ask for a lift from the passing vehicles, as my 4 yrs old daughter was not used to such heat of 12.00 pm.

    I swear …I will never Visit or would recommend any body to visit thailand in future…
